The family of Josephine Bassett wishes to thank everyone who reached out to us upon Jospehine’s passing.
Our family deeply appreciated all those who sent floral arrangements, planted trees in mom’s memory, provided food and who attended or participated in her visitation, rosary and celebration of life funeral mass.
We are especially thankful to Janet Doyle and Rev. Emmanuel Okoye of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish for setting up the rosary and funeral mass; thankful to Joanne Romero and Michaela Allen for leading the rosary; thankful to Kathy Lucero for providing music at the funeral mass, and to Dorothy Encinias-Pachta for serving as the Majordomo for both services, and thankful to the Parish Columbiettes for providing a luncheon following the funeral.
We are deeply touched by all the condolences and so grateful for everyone who reached out to lift us up at this difficult time.
We sincerely saddened by Mrs. Bassett ‘s passing. She was a very Special person and loved. Mrs. Bassett helped the Columbiettes Organization in ways to make money to help out our communities. Thank you to all her family, she will always live in our hearts. Yolanda “Yoli” Cano, President of the Columbiettes.
