The East Mountain communities will have a chance to hear from each of the three county manager finalists during a special public administrative meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the Ken Sanchez Commission Chambers at Alvarado Square. A virtual meeting option is available for those who wish to make public comment.
The top three county manager candidates were selected during the Bernalillo County Commission meeting June 11. The candidates are Cindy Chavez, Marcos Gonzales and Joseph Lessard.
During the meeting, each candidate will have an opportunity to share their vision for Bernalillo County and answer questions from the commissioners, and the public will have a chance to provide comments. The meeting will be followed by a meet-and-greet reception.

The County Commission is expected to choose a new county manager before the end of the month. Current County Manager Julie Morgas Baca plans to retire June 30.
