Danice May, born in Athens, TX on August 12, 1936, peacefully passed away in Mesquite, TX on April 6, 2024.
She was a former resident of McIntosh, and a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Estancia, New Mexico. Danice will be remembered for her commitment to friendships, caregiver role, passion for genealogy, singing, music, and infectious laughter.
Survived by stepdaughter Jodi Taylor, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. Preceded in death by husband Horace D. May, parents Reuben and Mary Norris, brothers Donald, Dwight, Dahrell Norris. A graveside interment at Davis Cemetery in Athens, Texas, the family requests acts of kindness, and donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Danice May will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
