The Town of Mountainair opened its community resource center at 109 North Roosevelt on March 3, next to the Municipal Judge’s Chambers.
The new resource center, the Meeting Place, offers a range of services and resources such as computer classes, help with preparing a living will, a book club and notary services.
Mayor Peter Nieto took the time to thank Town Councilor Annette Archuleta for overseeing this initiative.
“We are grateful for her dedication, and we know her expertise will make this a success!” said Nieto via Facebook.
The Meeting Place will have flexible hours throughout the week, including Saturday and some evening hours.
The Mountainair community is invited to visit to learn about the Meeting Place’s services and how it can assist them.
